Has anyone had the character meal at Hollywood and Vine?

The food was very similar to Chef Mickey's.
We ate at Hollywood and Vine in 2010.
You could also try Garden Grill in Epcot.
I hear the food at Hollywood and Vine is a little better.

H & V is one of only 2 restauarants in all of WDW we will NEVER go back to .
I've only done dinner and there were no characters.
Other than that it's just plain awful.
It's OK for breakfast.
Can't comment on the characters, only the food.

I'm not sure if I asked it here or not, but if we have a reservation for Hollywood and Vine lunch and my husband and I do not eat (just the three kids) will we still be charged a credit each off of our dining plan? We cannot stand that place, but the ...

Because H&V is a buffet, every person at the table will be charged the age appropriate price whether you eat or not .

We will be taking DS to Hollywood & Vine for the characters on our trip in August. I think we're going to do lunch, rather than breakfast, so we can have some flexibility in the morning. Are there any advantages between going to the earliest lunch time...

Oso, Jake from the Neverland Pirates, Handy Manny, who else? I just read that the Little Einsteins were no longer at that breakfast, which is fine by me, just wondering who else the kids could expect to see.

I am researching TS meals for ADRs. I looked on Allears but it doesn't say much about what is there. I would like a better description of the food there and opinions on what it is like.
