I want this next baby to be born at home with a midwife. We are Army and will be in Germany for three years starting this summer. Has anyone used Tricare to have a homebirth? Will it make a difference if we're overseas? Should we switch to Standard?

I'm not sure if it will....
No CNM's do homebirths where I live and that's the only kind of midwife tricare will cover for homebirthI don't know about a homebirth specifically, but I don't think standard is available in OCONUS Prime.

Is there anyone....
But first I would try to find closer.
homebirth where the midwife wasnt present, she was still on her way to us though, everything went well to have a midwife, I would definitely have an unassisted homebirth.
