Homemade Salsa I was searching for a thread on this and was surprised not to find one.
I thought I had seen one a while back. Oh well.
Anyone have a good recipe?
Here's mine. Pics will be added the next time I make it,.

Who makes their own salsa. I want to make some this year with some tomatoes fromt the garden, but never tried it before want to try and make some like you get at mexican rest. Also after making canyou put up in mason jars and seal so you can keep in pantry...

Just how hot does the salsa end up being? It sounds like a lot of jalapenos. I understand the vinegar for flavor, but doesn't that make it rather runny and thin? If it is too thin, just add a 12 oz. can of tomato paste.

There is a diffrence between Chili salsa and just plain salsa.

I am 59 and never have tried salsa.
I do not like a strong onion or green pepper taste as I taste it for days.
Is it any kind that is mild on these flavors that I may try one and get something that is 0 points in my diet beside fruits and veggies
