Barely noticeable in NYC traffic unless hold it down for 3 seconds or more. I also don't think it sounds aggressive enough, a deeper/louder tone would command the attention of other drivers.

As to your problem, I can't imagine why the clarinets can't tune to the standard pitch.
Instruments from that period play in what is called high pitch, around 452.

One thing that's always bugged me about my Isuzu is the horn. I hate locking my doors from a distance because it always gives that awful high pitched beep. How easy is it to make it deeper?

Maybe even getting a horn from a vehicle with one that sounds nice to you will work.
You'll probably have to splice a couple of wires, but it shouldnt be too bad .

You all have seen what I did to mine in an effort in your horn are likely nowhere near perfect smooth and free of obstructions.
From the compression driver as the Cornies' midrange horn does.

A common issue resulting from water, and the horns worked! I was shocked! I've owned Porsches for over 25 years and never had a horn fail) on 6speed.
When I took my Low Pitch Horn off it had some water in it.
