Also, I did not include Aliens as an option, because I consider it much more of an action film, and it ushered....
I voted for The Shining From the movies for Psycho .
Whereas the first film I consider to be a horror film.

Well first of all The Shining is in my opinion the best horror film ever made, you was an effective horror film for the first half hour, then a good B horror movie for the rest.

I just finished watching a horror film that seems to depict Druidic witchery - at great length and detail, "Outcast". Haven't seen any of that since The Wicker Man. Intriguing, very cool cast. The story leaves you wondering. Special effects were low budget...
