The skin and hair did the same thing you describe and we did have and contained eucalyptus which some horses are allergic to.

Have you ever had a horse refuse to load in a straight load, but loaded fine in a slant? Do horses dislike straight loads, or will they get used to it? Thanks!

I am using a snaffle bit and direct rein. I would like to neck rein for trail riding. Do I need a different bit and bridle or can I teach him to neck rein on a snaffle?

I have ridden horses that only neckrein with the reins, leg isn't needed, but I find those horses to often be a little sloppier, less polished her in various patterns with my legs, touching....
My legs are the cue and the reins are just back up .

I've never had one of those horses that has issues with vaccines...until last year. Blush got very sore from the five way E/W/T/Flu/WNV and had to be fed from a net and treated with banamine for several days.
This year, we started with rabies and IN strangles...

I also give the injection on the haunch instead of neck so not use hoses, troughs, etc that other horses have had access to.
