I say it was management....
Half the team was probably not ready to be in the majors at all .
I don't think that it was so much of their age but more so of the management .
They weren't experienced hitters.
Pretty much their whole lineup was a AAA team.

There are so many things going on with the Astros right now, it is hard to know where to begin a team is as bad as the Astros, it forces them to make moves like that to show the fan base made.
