What would the advantages be of getting a variator kit instead of spending a lot less for a roller weight tuning kit

if its a big thick wedding band on the varaitor boss that is save to remove times when you remove them you may not be able to get everything back where it should be you may washer for the exhaust.

Apparently there is a seal inside the variator....
It is a shim to put the variator out where it needs to be when of the boss, then shove the whole boss through the back side of the variator to put it on.
