Provided by this site i tired to derestrict my variator. everything was going fine. pretty easy until
hey, hows it going everyone?
this weekend iopened up my 03 vino 50 and using the directions
variator nut the first time i put my variator back on my zuma. took the rest of the day to figure out...

Enough sockets.
and my strap wrench is too small also.
i just dont understand how the rear clutch
if that every becomes more of a problem for me...
The nut on the variator and the clutch are 17mm
if your Sticking remove belt and Try to pull the rear Outer pully apart and if it sticks and dont

The oil is coming from behind the variator. You can see the shiny oil on the bottom of the CVT
cover and on the brass colored metal behind the variator in the pics.
Now I am no engine expert
Yeah you have a crankshaft seal behind the variator. You remove the variator, and you'll see

on my new impact wrench say to never tighten a nut
with an impact wrench. Of course the guy
work in helping
remove and replace the variator, the problem is removing the objects
fully

2004 stock Vino. However, tonight I took the plunge and followed the variator governor removal guide
done lets the variator go to a "higher gearing", which adds a little top speed. If you haven't done
in?
It can be a little tricky getting the exhaust lined up right at first. Go back and remove the two

My impact wrench has packed in and i want to remove the nut that holds on the variator any ideas
how to do it without one or is it impossible?

Of the matter is, A new variator, spring, and weights WILL NOT increase your vehicles over all power
works.
Lets start with the front pully of the variator. This is where your roller weights and ramp plate
the axle.Once the pully has been removed, you have to remove the large nut on the side of the clutch...

From the workshop manual, is it really necessary to have this tool and remove the nut
from the clutch housing just to get the transmission cover off to expose the variator and belt assembly?

the variator and get at the roller weights, but why would I want to remove the nut holding the clutch...

I was trying to put on my stage1 kit today and came into the problem of not being able to remove
wise and strap wrench with no luck...
currently i am going to just upgrade the variator, but keep
