Just wondering what kind of lube is best to use if the top is really hung.
Is regular lube in the small containers fine or do you guys prefer KY Jelly, etc. whats the difference?

It's the smoothest lube I've ever used and it won't wash off with just water, but soap and water takes it right off.
My studs are very well hung and my favorite lube is Gun Oil .

Been there for a year.
Works just fine.
I hung mine from the garage rafters.

One thing, I think calico might be a better material, muslin is too loosely woven, many of the histroical trekking guys use Egyptian cotton sheets for tarps and ground sheets then oilskin them for waterproofing... .
