Try this: brake normallyRegenerative braking is, in essence, slowing the car by using the drag of the engine.
To braking - you should be able to achieve both regeneration and auto-stop.

Using the motor for braking (to recover energy.
27KW at 200V takes 130+ amps.
As an example (from toyota specs: http://www.toyota.com/prius-hybrid/specs.html ) the motor outputs 36HP (27KW) at 200V.
