How do you know its not running? Does sticking a simple alert('hello!'); in the script tag... .
Have you tried putting the script tag in the end of the document just before the finishing body element? Usually that's were you put the Google Analytics-code .

But i was under the impression the blue MPC couldn't sample ? you need a MPC 500 .
Have you read this http://www.mpc-forums.com/files/MPC1000/mpc1000_manual_v2.pdf ? one of the others might be able to help you out here.. .
