I have noticed a lot of people posting comments that the DWP have contacted them by phone to inform them that they have failed the ATOS assessment, is this a new initiative? Or have they always done this?
An optimistic view would be that they are doing...

IB and ESA continues to be paid until the claimant no longer meets the associated they`ll leave me on ....
I know of claimants who's IB renewal to be re-assessed.
Possible that you will be one of the last to be transferred .

I've been on IB since April 2008, when I was made redundant due to my depression (I took my employers to tribunal and won), after working for over 30 years.
On Saturday past, I received the dreaded letter telling me that I'm being migrated over to ESA...

He said that the form for migrating from IB to ESA wasn't available that the form for migrating from IB to ESA wasn't available on-line.
That for my DLA, and found it easier.

I am posting this for a friend who really isn't sure what this means, he has been ill much of his life and had 2 transplants, and was on incapacity, he had an ATOS assessment and was awarded 0 points, so appealed and then went to a tribunal...

I am on IB long term after a back operation went wrong, I now have to attend a medical assessment at ATOS because of the new ESA benefit. If they pass me fit to work what happens with my benefits (sorry if that is a dumb question) I know I have the right...
