In your Secondary School courses and compares them (via your guidance counselor's SSR report) to other students in your school, if a student is ranked....
Profile will explain that IB students are not included in class rankings.
This is not a thread intended to start any arguments. BUT. I want honest opinions. Do you think it's harder to get between a 3.7-4.0 GPA taking AP or IB classes? And why.

They are just very different....
Course rigor is similar between the two programs IB classes.
How many classes? 6 IB classes would certainly be more difficult to attain perfect grades in then a single AP class, but 7 AP classes > 6 IB.

This is what I have had to do for the IB: IBH Chemistry....

As AlexSon said your IB grades the IB too much ....
To "top" universities, the general IB entry requirements are a minimum of 36 (including UCL, Imperial, LSE) in which case you would apply to start the 3 year undergrad through UCAS.
I think I am going to take a mix, this is what my schedule would look like: Honors Pre-Cal IB French 5 AP Chem (double period) IB English (It's a 2 year course) IB History (2 year course) Maybe AP Psych or APUSH And senior year I would take: IB French...

IB gives you a more well rounded education while in AP you can focus on the things....
IB is inferior imo.
Don't do full IB; it will only decrease your GPA.
Take IB only if you really want to take a certain class.
IB sucks.

I do know that IB is more independent, covers things more offered IB, I would take ....
Also IB is for students that really want to learnIB is not offered at my school only AP.
In depth, you have to write a really long essay .
