Any IB students frequent this site? :) I haven't been on Gaia since...I forget. This seems like the best place to ask - any IB students, present or former, on Gaia ? I'm an IB senior in the US this year, and I find myself seeking fellow slaves to the programme students as I struggle to finish... Does Harvard care about class rank? My school doesn't rank IB students. I'm in IB and my school doesn't rank IB students, so the top AP student always gets valedictorian. However, IB at my school is considered much harder. Does Harvard care about class rank? I would be the valedictorian if I dropped out and took the easier... Course rigor is similar between the two programs IB classes. How many classes? 6 IB classes would certainly be more difficult to attain perfect grades in then a single AP class, but 7 AP classes > 6 IB.

IB is inferior imo. Don't do full IB; it will only decrease your GPA. Take IB only if you really want to take a certain class. IB sucks.
