Ok, one of the 7.3 IDI's I just bought has a supposed 180,000 on it, and the guy said it was burning 1-2 quarts in a 30-40 mile trip, he didn't say it was low on power or anything, I've heard that the valve seals can do this and I'm thinking with this...

Hello ya'll,
I recently acquired a '91 F250 IDI and I'm hoping to run it on WVO and do the conversion myself. What makes my situation somewhat unique is that this truck will be used 99% of the time to make 90 mile runs (each way) to and from a family ...

I thought I had read that factory IDI-Ts were.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Mac.
I will bring an SCA test kit.
With an auto tranny = an IDI as the stroke only came with a ZF5 in 94
Ford never offered an X.
