I tried some "add to favorties" JavaScript scripts.. With IE8, I get an "access denied" (is that even possible to add a bookmark via JS with IE8?) and it just doesn't work with IE6... Anybody has a good script that works on most browsers?
Thanks!

This solution looks solid.
Safari isn't supported, and IE6 I couldn't test it here, sorry.
Edit) ..
Hi,
Both IE6 and IE8 will need the users to press CTRL+D to add the website to the favourites.

Yes, I'm stuck on IE6 at work.
I've turned-off the available toolbars to just the ones I want - Address & Standard Buttons. I don't like the Links toolbar.
Normally, when I open a new window, it's not there.
However, if the window is triggered from a ...

I just spent a few minutes continuosly....
So, to summarize:
- Favorites: to tab I'm in
- Other time.
To make matters worse, you never know where it's going to add it .
I do that, favorites open in a new tab or in the tab I'm on (still randomly).

It must be the menu option or you may
also do it from... .
Favorites (menu option as in
File-Edit-View-Favorites-Tools-Help)
and when a favorite flies out, rightclick on it and select "Sort by
