I bought a IJF Bigfoot system for my Epson R1800. I thought it would be much easier to manage than refillable cartridges. But things didn't go very well. The new improved ribbon tube securement system that came in my kit was not designed for the R1800...

Bottom line is, CIS is a very good tool from IJF for my 1400 and that is....
You may save around 3/4 of your ink cost vs epson's .
Inkjetmall cartridges.
Sources for the CIS, they are much better than the one made in China like IJF's.
