So far haven't a bit more power but then the backlight is nice and even which is something many led panels they send me doesnt have a scuffed ....
Must say im loving it over the Samsung tn panel i had.
For a 1900 x 1200 ips screen .

I see these have been doing the rounds on some other forums, extremely cheap 27" IPS panels from South Korea
Apparently they are rather good especially considering the price. If you feel brave and a bit adventurous then they ship pretty fast too.

In the market for a new monitor to replace the good old T240. Giving it to my gf so she can have dual screens, and Ill be treating myself to two new screens for my computer.

I have heard you get much better colors with IPS but haven't used one (30" @2560x1600 ....
IPS panels simply have too slow of a response time to be able between a TFT and an IPS panel.
Times and come in 120hz varieties.

Please add no ips panels on the sharp elites though.
There is a 60, but they offer the best PQ of any LED TV so far .
Pretty sure LG does not manufacture IPS panels in a 65" size.
Scan lines with passive.

I'm leaning towards Panasonic cause of the IPS panel
and better viewing angles
But honestly I don't know what the other makers are
using. Is everyone using IPS even Vizio?

The NEC Multisync 2180 UX is a faily old Panel ( I think TFT). Back then it was a top of the line product. One of the best ones you could buy when it comes to image quality. How well do you think this panel keep up with today's average products. I suppose...

Grade TN panels from the same era - IPS is great, but an IPS with a contrast ratio of just 1:500 means a lot better then your IPS, and todays IPS and PVA panels, which have come down in price by a lot possible....

Its the same panel and this has better reviews over of these cheep IPS monitors have e-IPS panels in them, which I've found to be poorer than decent TN panels.
Would rather have an LG IPS 23" for this price.

The va panel stays bright and viewable coming....
The black levels on ips panels are atrocious angles are vastly superior on it compared to my h-ips panels.
Coming from a crt your gonna wanna go with the mva panel.

I cant seem to find a glossy ips display other than the apple thunderbolt display. Looking at those sexy iMac screens made me wanne get an ips glossy display for my gaming rig. The annoying this is that sites never say if an ips screen is glossy or matte...
