How many companies are using IQ tests to rate prospective programmers?
How would you weight an IQ test vs. education, experience, etc.?
Are there any legal issues that come into play with this kind of thing?
Is there an industry standard test?

IMO IQ test has nothing to do with programmer proficiency ....
I've also been asked to complete 'personality tests be surprised if some IT company conducts IT tests.

IQ test have gotten not saying that traditional IQ tests are useless; they clearly can be effective in recognizing highly intelligent people ....
People with high IQs usually do :P This has been discussed numerous times.

You cant compare the IQ of different countries for a couple of reasons
1)They all use different tests
2)How hard are the tests(?) (what if American IQ tests are easier than UK IQ tests leading to higher results?)

Okay, now this was the biggest downer that i have had in a long time. now i know this may not be legit but i took a online IQ test, a couple actually, and my IQ is 93 i don't care if the test was professional or not, what is up with this! i am so pissed...

seems like you are normal I never take online tests seriously.
If you took a professional (psychologist-administered) IQ test, you should have a detailed report than an IQ test.
