Jumped to it from Nero as I didn't want to buy the suite just for the Burning Rom
LiquidCD.
Under Gnome wodim for Linux on the command line ISO recorder v2 for Windows InfraRecorder on Windows for a while now.

I'm trying to upgrade 9.10 without burning the ISO image to a disk. What are the steps to get this to work?
I am using the ubuntu-9.10-desktop-amd64.iso image.
There are a few postings around on this, but none of them work for 9.10. Thanks.

From burning a CD, but have some SD memory card around, you can try to put the ISO as the operatingMount the ISO like so:
sudo mount -o loop ~/Desktop/ubuntu-9.10-i386.iso /media/cdrom0
(replace the paths to the ISO as required....

I have Windows Vista and I have an ISO for Windows 7 Ultimate. Is it possible for the upgrade to complete if I just run the disc as a mounted ISO in my Vista install? Or do I actually need to burn a DVD?

Suppose I have a directory of 100 .ISO files. Do you know how I could automate burning them to DVDs? I'd basically like to send them to a DVD burner with a hopper of DVDs similar to how you can print sheets of paper on a printer.

I mentioned sometime ago about when burning ISO's to disc the results ,no matter what programme used, Nero, windows image burner, or imgburn, the sound was always distorted. when using the LG latest BD burner.
After re-installing DVDA 5 studio with windows...

To burn any content to a DVD-R, no matter how it is originated?
If you can't, it's likely an OS/driver/firmware issue.

Is there a utility built into the Mac software to allow for burning ISO downloaded from the internet.
Or.. Is there a better utility on the Net for performing this function?

Your .iso file from the volume list Burn it!!! The steps below show how to use the Disk Utility the blank disk and the .iso/.dmg should be listed.

My first time burning an iso and I've spent an hour trying to get it to work, 2 wasted cds already....
I choose cdrom (iso) and drop my linux unbuntu distrib and do a write. When it's finished the cd shows one iso on it, this is not right I believe, should...
