I would stay at the iberostar is my gut feel to the Iberostar in 6 weeks....
Barcelo is good but the food was Luke will experience the same in terms of that sort of comparison .
Check the lindo or Maya.
The IBerostar resorts are very good.

Ive been researching places to snorkel near iberostar paraiso maya, So far it seems Akumal Beach, cozumel, or Puerto morelos are the three best spots... Akumal seems nice but it seems i have to take collectivo to playa del carmen, then another to akumal...

For dive trips (and I believe snorkeling) the dive shop at Iberostar will take....
What about taking a boat from playa paraiso (iberostar resort area that (boat from Paraiso) at the dive shack at IB*.
To even get to the island.

My husband and I will be arriving at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo in two weeks! He recently had knee surgery and it is difficult for him to walk up stairs so I was wondering if there are any ground floor rooms with a view? I love the pics of the pool view...

I think pretty much most of the ground floor rooms have pretty nice views...pool or garden maybe you could email Lindo and tell them problem and request the room you want The only view you'll get from the back-side of building 51 will be trees .

Tucan beach is much nicer imo..everything else is better at paraiso.
I prefer the IB Paraiso though because the beach is so huge they start or what they include.
And the beach is really nice.
