Has anyone been?
H and I had decided to go to the Excellence resort in Punta Cana, but as we were comparing prices on different sites, we saw that the Iberostar Dominicana was significantly cheaper.
The resort got great reviews online, but the pictures...

You say Iberostar Rose from the Iberostar.
Both resorts are very very large and tend to be impersonal .
Riu Club is also more of a basic 3* resort REGARDLESS of what Apple vacations average normally.
To be a bit rocky as well.

Has anyone changed resorts while in the cayos? I am thinking of moving from Las Dunas to the Iberostar Ensenachos just for a quieter beach. Has anyone an idea of the costs involved???

Originally at the Barcelo Santa Maria and changed to the Iberostar resorts..ie Transat Vacations carried both....
Why not book the Iberostar changed resorts 3 years ago.
Two different companies - don't think you will find it an easy job .

The resort was supposed to officially open today and we will be there in 51 days...cannot keep still thinking about it... This will be our 9th Iberostar vacation since 2007! : )

Have a budget of $3000 or less. Is there such a place for a family of 4 to go with such low cost? I can go to Atlantis for that price but we have already been and would like to try something different. Can't wait to get some feedback!

Thanks! Hi cmauro, IMHO the Iberostar is the best resort as there are many water games going on with the entertainment team (Starfriends ) Iberostar has newly.

Friends travelling to this resort in February, familiar with Punta Cana but not Mexico. Is this one portion of a larger complex of the Iberostar resort? The way it looks to me is, one part of a five resort complex. Is this correct? Any feedback would ...
