3 or 4 nights of cold weather this time of the winter will make very little difference in ice thickness in areas that are not frozen over yet! Those areas have to have current in them and will be dangerous all winter! A little snow cover will make them...

Hey, ladies. We've been snowed/iced in for a day and a half with no phone service, no TV, and intermittent Internet at the farm we're caring for. Trees are down and some of them damaged the goats' fence...I'm thankful they didn't get out!

Thanks....
Any new reports on ice thickness? Is there any snow cover at all? If I make it up or ice scratchers or I may just have to give it a few weeks for some snow! Thanks for the update GO cool on the ice.
And report.
Not a lot of new snow on the lake. I took out the snowmobile. Folks are driving tho. Just have to be careful about where you drive. Not all areas have drivable ice.

The snow tires have been great on snow, and are solely for ice.
That was a sheet of ice once last year, and that was enough for me.
