Looks like Wedge is really considering moving Ichiro out of the lead off spot.
I think Ichiro would probably do a lot better than last year and cannot envision Ichiro doing worse than that, even though if everyone on Seattle's line up did somewhat even...

I don't understand because Ichiro had the worst year offensively, but Ichiro's....
People talk about Duskin Ackley being a better batter than Ichiro Suzuki and he's more worthy of number 3 hitter than Ichiro Suzuki.

Something like this should do the trick:
for playerID, player in self.iteritems... .
You should be able to change it to a list comprehension with the all builtin, which returns True iff all the elements in its argument are true (or if the iterable is empty) .
