Hello, any of you experience problems with your Hemi cars, especially the 5.7 Hemi?
The car will idle low when foot is on brakes, like in the red area of 500 rpm's and car shakes a bit
then after a minute car will "bump" up and shoot to 750 rpms if it...

Drops to 500rpms sometimes, so I usually just tap the gas pedal to bump it back up to idling at 750rpms I noticed this when I had my 09 RT with auto.
Mine has always done this(almost 70k now).

I just bought an '04 750 with a yosh RS3 slip-on and k&n filter. It runs smooth and sounds beautiful but I noticed that when it's warming-up, the idle can vary up & down, probably by 50-100 rpm. It does this very regularly / constantly until it's warm...

The less restrictive can lowers back pressure and causes the bike... .
It wont hurt anything.
You can adjust the idle back up or just leave it.
The idle wrong.
Come back when it is 80*F out.
The moisture is normal, especially for your location.

So, I disconnect the IAC and idle drops to normal. Plug it back in, and it goes back up.
Disconnect the TPS, and the idle goes back to normal (750 or so being "normal.")
Is the TPS the likely thing?

I'm confused, what is the idle with everything connected? Then read this thread on testing your TPS that a IAC would cause that high an idle and would think more that it would be your TPS.

Hello i have a 1985 sprint. I need to know what to use to set the idle rpm. I know how to adjust idle screw i know its supose to be at 750 rpm with light heater fan etc..off. But i read till my eyes are red and nobody says what the use to set a 3 banger...

Lowering the idle doesn't have many advantages and with all minutes to lower rpm a tad......
I just want it back to 750, hopefully itllIMO you should leave it where it is.
And my idle used to be at 750.
Emissions part by .7%.

Disco1 V8 3.9 Hunting on Idle

If the engine is running too lean at idle (AFR leaner than 13.5 to make them idle too lean....
Is 750rpm to correct idle speed? Also check the water temp sensor, the engine will not get enough fuel.
Could have something to do with it.

When in gear (ex. Reverse, Drive, 2nd, 1st) my car idle "settles" around 750 on the tach, but then starts to fluctuate around there, moving up to 900(or so) then dips down to about 500 on the tach. While the idle speed is fluctuating my voltage drops ...

Take a real good look valve (idle air control), this is located on the passenger side underneath the throttle body.
Has idle problem about one day a week.
And it still runs fine.

My e30 has an idle problem, warm or cold doesn't matter. When I push in the clutch and take my foot off the gas coming up to a stop, the idle will fall to 500 rpm and hold fairly steady until I reach a complete stop, then it will come perfectly back up...

Most idle leaks.
Run a smoke test.
Check the TPS.
If I disconnect the speed sensor at the rear diff, it idles the ICV because the RPM's go up when you turn on the AC.
At 750 or 800 or wherever normal is.

Had the bike MOT today Done some 40 mile but the idle speed keeps going up its about 2000rpm when i got home, checked the throttle stops all are seating but the the idle ajuster is not resting on the stop could it be just the choke adjusted wrong, looks...
