S/C idler pulley fail Has anyone with a S/C have their idler pulley fail on them? It is because mine failed the bearing inside is wiggling. I remove S/C thinking it had bearing failure on the shaft side found out my bearing fail on the idler pulley. Idler pulley and tensioner as preventative maintenance??? I am planning on replacing my idler pulley as preventative maintenance as it is at 160K, and I don't know if it was ever replaced. Should I also replace the hydraulic tensioner as preventative maintenance, or do they fail with some warning?
