Check for Vacuum leaks also, when you replaced your TPS, did you tune it to the correct voltage? .45v closed and about 4.5v at WOT .

The erratic idling had begun prior to this loose connection though with the erratic idling with no gain from repeat cleanings of the BGC, I'll go with your suggestion of replacing.

Still seems sort of odd that it jumps though.
Might need to adjust ur idle to around 1400 or 1500.
