Just a lighter tint? i live in a city where cops are dicks, then again they never said....
Up light it's illegal guess we will see if i get pulled over lol was looking into doing, and i always thought tinted tail lights looked great...

I currently own a 2006 Honda Civic 1.4L and I am thinking to tint the rear brake lights to a smokey black colour as I have window tints all the way round on my car. Does anyone know if this is legal to do??

Plenty people have tinted the rear lights but just make....
But legally they need to still let enough light through so they can be seen in all weathers .
Civics are lucky to have reflectors on the lower bumpers so that part of the law doesnt affect us .

I have read a few car forums as well that say not to tint your sunroof glass.
ie. Window Tint Film added to inside (or outside) of glass on a car's sunroof as some Professional Window Tint places...

It makes the glass almost as dark as limo tint with "tinted" sunroofs are....
I have, and has bronze as part of the makeup of the glass .
Layers of "legal" tint to increase the darkness without having ever used an illegal shade.

I was thinking of tinting the front two windows, respectively 20% as I somewhat like my privacy and have driven cars with 20% even knowing the laws and difficulty seeing at night.
I contacted a top rated window tinting shop in my area regarding the front...

The gf wanted chocolate milkshake... we went to the mall to buy her one.... 2 minutes from the mall i get stopped by a cop... he tells me its illegal to have the front windows tinted.. to my surprise since its the first time i get stopped in california...

Always get the driver's window rolled down before they get to you and have that the law was if you ... .
They want to be able to see the driver when approaching the vehicle and you can keep your tint.

Got pulld over the other day, Trooper tryd too give me 6 tickets, end up giving me 2.. Got a seat belt and tint ticket (5%).. had my windows up, and he said i had no seat belt, well when i go too court ima ask him since he could see if had or didnt have...

lawyer up i guess he was in a parking lot is get the tint removed and take a photo of your truck to court to show the tint is off.
