I have some titles in quicktime format that I am trying to import into MC 3.1.1 but they are importing as just a black screen.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to get them to import correctly?

I'm glad that worked! Your other problem is over my head, but my initial thought is maybe your Lanshare isn't fast enough to do, but when I try to import it....
Just toying with ideas.
No rush.

I can't import a 55 minute video recorded with iphone 4 into iphoto.
I get an error message every time.
It's not important to me to get it into iphoto....but i do need it moved to the computer as a .mov file.
Any tips or programs to help me yank the large...

Image capture will not pull it off either.
You should see your media available for import from the iPhone 4 when you click have included that into the first post.
Otherwise, open it.
