Hello my fellow foodies,
I live in the NW suburbs and was just looking to try new Indian restaurants. I tend to frequent Taste of Himalayas in St. Charles (DELICIOUS. Plus they have a great lunch buffet 6 days a week), but would love to try some new places...

Why are Indian restaurants always closed between 3pm and 5pm? this is universal for all of the restaurants in my area, not just one or two.

I think maybe they might be praying Why are you always hungry between 3 and 5 PM? And why don't you call and ask any of them as to why they are closed? Where in India are you? Maybe their lunch rush ends at around 3pm?

There was talk at breakfast this morning about new India Restaurant opening soon on Plaza in Ajijic, and also the closing of 3 old restaurants, but no names, Anyone know more info???

Check out some menu's 21, 2012 If you like Indian cuisine, Garam Masala has a good selection of vegetarian dishes.
I believe most restaurants on Provo will prepare a vegetarian meal for you.

Waterside Inn - Bray, super-operative Indian - good quality....
Cambios - v.nice, although slightly more expsnive of the Raj - Drury Lane - a workers co-operative Indian - good quality.
Guildford isn't bad at all for restaurants .
