Who's going? Looking around, good prices can be had at at decent hotels (Hampton Inns, Holiday Inn Expresses) for under $100, along with good seats for $80 each.
I know as far as road courses go Indy is not great, but the Speedway is a wonderful place...

2012 MotoGP @ Indy I am determined to get to the Moto GP this year, but have no idea on where to sit. I haven't ever been to the speedway.
Friday has the track lap with reserved seat purch!!
Saturday has the pit walkabout
Sunday has the RACES

Some people have sparked some interest in meeting up this year at Indy for the MotoGP races. I think it'd be a great opportunity to meet some forum members, hang out, watch the races, have a good time! Me personally, this would be my first MotoGP race...

The lady who ran enlisted yet? When I went I stayed at a base about 30 or so miles south of Indy, Camp Atterbury.
They had trailers you could rent for like $25/night.
