Anybody out there who has a child with IS-like seizures now that their older? I have a six year old daughter who has 5-10 seizures per day that look just like infantile spasms. The clustered jumps where her arms and legs pull in. She's on lamictal right...

I have a friend whose son had juvenile spasms (he's been 2 years seizure free after his fourth I "met" online....
Understanding, if they are juvenile spasms, they are indeed doing the same things tot he brain as infantile spasms".

I would go ahead and call ur pediatrician. could be nothing but with little ones its best just to call ur doc. try to get back on track with ur vitamins and maybe she just strained something. are there any signs or symptoms of pain or discomfort with ...

Our 7 1/2 month old seems to also....
I have called symptoms.
They said it is just myoclonus which is probably being caused at different naps, and I don't see any jerking/twitching/spasm while sleeping.
Not seizures or Infantile Spasms.

Here is a link may help you www.aboutkidshealth.ca/.../pages/infantile-spasms.aspx I think tests are a good thing as at least it will put your mind at rest .I have seen a little of this where an older baby would hold her breath, she did grow out of it...
