I recently bought a 1964 vintage Ingersoll Rand model GRB-125 tow behind air compressor.I'm going to use it strictly to run my sand blaster.I've done the usual work on the Continental G-193 gas engine and got it to run pretty good.Now on to the vane type...

I have an Ingersoll Rand GRA-125.
All the ones I have dealt with will be happy to tell you the correct oil to put in the old girl .
Ingersol Rand makes a great compressor, call any Ingersol Rand dealer.
I need and impact and don't use one enough to justify spending alot been doing a bit of research and seems like a good gun for the price wondering if anyone else uses one likes dislikes most it would get used for is my truck and trailer tires not constant...

I walk by a guy with a 1" hammer, he stated that ingersoll rand was a better.
It back off tire nuts put on by a 1" hammer .
I got a ingersoll rand 1/2" it back off at 780 lbs.
Great gun, lots of power.
Looking at getting a new air compressor and have looked locally at both quincy and ingersoll rand. Specs and price are similar. I've heard really good things about both. which would you prefer and why? This will most likely go in an unheated shed next...

Another thing that ....
Quincy was like 15 scfm at 140 psi vs the IR that was around 12 scfm at 90 psi .
I'm in the same boat and have decided on the Quincy .

I had a old crafstman that I took the tank and fitted a Ingersoll Rand pump on top.
Get a Ingersoll Rand and don't look back.
I'll bet it wouldn't last a month like that.
