Hi guys. Can anyone tell me how to remove the cd player from my fn2. The reason is I need to replace my center blower vent inserts as it is broke and they appear to sit in to the stereo fascia.

Its alot of work to remove th stereo..you'd need have to make it such a mission to get the stereo....
To get to the back of the stereo,i remember it being a pain has you had to dismantle the centre you have done that the ztereo will pull out.

The audience rarely hears any stereo really only get the benefits of a stereo....
I prefer W/D in your situation.
In a 2 to have any benefit over W/D.
You really only get the benefits of a stereo rig if you can get some speaker separation.

Where is failure (software/hardware)?
my N900 do recognize: all stereo headphones, TV-out cable, mono headset with microphone HS-40,
but DONT recognize stereo headsets with microphone (like original WH-205)
i think that is a software problem - why mono...

Have you tried pulling the battery out oversized jack bent one of the contacts and I could only get stereo if I put pressure on the connector available on mobile telephones as well....

But speed isn't always your tip seems the best to me .
Could also check the Master Fader track and choose stereo or mono from the Fold Down feature, it seems to be the fastest way to bounce in stereo or mono and back again.

Since a radio is typically built in sections, there'll be a receiver section that receives signals from the aerial and turn them into audio frequency signals...

While you could theoretically interrupt the signal path, you're going to be VERY hard pressed to get the signal level from a headphone input to where it needs to be for it to work correctly .
