I have this car in which the inspection just expired. The check engine light is on in my car. Does this mean my car will automatically fail the inspection even if the light doesn't pertain to any safety issue?
Are there any places that are more lenient...

Go get your car scanned for free to see directly to get it inspected.
With the engine emissions it will probably fail.

Car computer has no memory while getting inspected!?!?!? I have a 2000 mitsubishi galant that runs perfectly. The problem is when I try to get it inspected they tell me it has no memory and I need to drive it 200-300 miles. I drove it probably 500-600...

To allow the car to be OBD "ready" after a reset or batt disconnect..
