my e92 m3 has a catless exhaust, no front plate and window tint and my inspection is due by the end of the month. anyone recommend...

How would I go about editing the memory of other applications using Cocoa? I know the editing has to be done as root, but how would I do it in the first place?

Once you attach to a process, and the process is stopped, you can do things like read and write from the childs instruction or data... .
Ptrace is the usual mechanism to do this (and has little/nothing to do with cocoa itself -- it's a unix api, man ptrace) .

According to main site a pitch inspection will take place at about 10.15 am tomorrow morning. Does'nt sound to good as temps are due to fall well below zero tonight.

Just a FYI
If ya go for a safety and it fails, you have 10 days to do the repairs (wherever ya want, even yourself) and then bring it back for re-inspection for free, except for a couple of things, after you paid for the initial inspection of course.

What they are suppose to do is just check to see if the issues found during the initial inspection have been....
The wheels to come off to inspect the brakes...you will always get charged again if they do another full safety inspection.

My car was rejected for state inspection due to a missing battery hold down. At first I thought ok, I'll give, but then I tried to prove they had the right to reject me for that. I could not find a battery hold down check as part of the VA State Inspection...

I would also consider picking up a parts kit which Top Gun sellers use .
That is a very the only way to fully inspect the pistol IMHO.
At the very least field strip the gun and inspect it as others have suggested.
