FreeBSD has OpenSSH-server installed by default Enable it with sshd_enable=YES in rc.conf, and run && make install or install it using pkg_add -r ssh2 This should do the trick.

Try pkg_add -r isc-dhcp31-server Way more programs you can find in FreeBSD's ports collection find one you want and install it: cd /usr/ports make search name=isc-dhcp cd /usr/ports/net/isc-dhcp31-server make install clean PS.

You can also specify PREFIX to install apache.
This seems to be the way to go.

freebsd-update install cannot create this missing folder /usr/src/lib/libc/gen/ , therefore the error it's supposed to be /usr/src/lib/libc/gen/dlopen.c .

Why not install it from the Ports? To install NetBeans under FreeBSD use ports: su cd /usr/ports/java/netbeans/ && make install clean.
