Is there a GUI for Ubuntu server at install time?
i installed Ubuntu Server 9.04, and logged in at the text based login prompt. i was hoping the GUI would then launch so i can configure the server.

sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-wsgi
?
You have provided insufficient information.
There's a --with-python option or similar.
Try ./configure --help.

To give a shorter answer - From the command line, do
$ sudo aptitude install....
The virtual package "ubuntu-desktop" is all you need to install.

There will be some performance hit when running Ubuntu this way, but you might not find, and doesn't support....
It'll put the Ubuntu "partition" in a file or Ubuntu.
You can install Ubuntu from within Windows using Wubi.
