I finally got tired of looking at the 280Z vents that I've had on the shelf for the last couple of years and decided to install them today. I know that it's probably going to be a bit much for some peoples' taste, but I've always like the look of them...

Ugly furnace installation. Any suggestions?

I see no reason why you can't paint both of those vent things.

With my new house, I had a vent....
Look for used vent hoods at Salvation in it, and a flapper vent installed to keep cold air from entering the house.
Could I just have a cooktop installed with no vent? See above.
