I recently discovered that my computer has insufficient airflow due to a poor case design. It simply doesn't have much of an intake (and it has no intake fans).
So I popped out one of the 5 1/4" bay covers and the temperature-sensing fans instantly slowed...

Pop the cover out and take a Dremel....
Not pretty but it works.
I've done three things in the past:
Just pop the covers off and leave the hole there and open .
I haven't seen anyone marketing one.
You might be able to fashion one from stretched pantyhose .

Putting a cone filter on stock intake
I was wondering if anyone knows what size cone filter fits on the stock air intake. If so is there anything else i would need to take of/replace in doing so other than the filter box?
Any info would be amazing

Are you saying your gonna take stock box off and put filter if so you have to consider whats going to hold the filter and water getting in from under the car what will hold the filter : a Clamp holding it to the MAF tube

Stock intake filter replacement
Wondering what people's opinions are for replacing the stock air filter on 2012 Rex. Not looking to do a cold air or SF intake quite yet, just new filter element. Figuring K&N element is the best way to go. Any thoughts...

Cone filter intake... I just finished Installing this intake on my bro's '07 M50. I fabbed it out of parts we bought a Pep Boys. Man you can really hear the engine gulping in the air now. What do you guys think? Not bad for 60 bucks

Looking to replace my JC60 ITG foam filter that comes with the Jim Conforti cold air intake. The lowest price I could find is about $80 or more with shipping and I know the foam filter probably does a better job of cleaning the engine's air with the trifoam...

Pmed bump for the filter I would be all over that filter but $35 a fair price for the Type S intake so make an offer? 35+ was what everyone else had theirs priced.
