I recently discovered that my computer has insufficient airflow due to a poor case design. It simply doesn't have much of an intake (and it has no intake fans).
So I popped out one of the 5 1/4" bay covers and the temperature-sensing fans instantly slowed...

Pop the cover out and take a Dremel....
Not pretty but it works.
I've done three things in the past:
Just pop the covers off and leave the hole there and open .
I haven't seen anyone marketing one.
You might be able to fashion one from stretched pantyhose .

Similar media to K&N but with an added "synthetic woven media of that and even Airaid doesn't claim it filters as well as A good paper filter.

Im getting ready to get either a intaake or filter for my rhino and I'm going to jet it as well when I do so. My question is how much of a gain will you get with a intake over just a high flow filter in a stock bxox? Is it really worth the money?

I have a new still in the plastic k&n filter. I used the same exact one when making my IceBox intake. Fits in the oem air box perfectly. $30 +shipping.

Spectre cleanable filter w/....
It has a Spectre cleanable filter on it that I recently cleaned with k&n cleaner.
It's painted black require it.
I have a AEM pipe that I modified to keep the filter from getting a hole rubbed in.

I find it very surprising in AFE dry filter....
May go with the drop-in filter.
If your going to change anything than I'd drop in an AFE filter and be done guys, Wont go with the cold air intake.
With the stock intake setup.
