I've got a '98 12v California model and I'm looking to get rid of the EGR. I'm Just wondering if there is any real advantages with a Dual Ram Intake Manifold. Ive done some reading but most of the info is by the guys that sell um, so I'm just looking ...

My EGT's dropped about 75-100 degrees because....
I have a CA EGR model truck and I got a non egr horn and ATS manifold to eliminate it.
Could having 2 intake tubes change the pressure inside the intake manifold to each cylinder.

A rip in the plenum (boot as you call from the intake rubber boot between the throttle body and the intake manifold.
Rubber boot between the throttle body and the intake manifold.

Hey guys i was wondering if I can change my intake manifold from the 3rd gen plastic intake manifold to like the 99 2nd gen metal intake manifold..i want to know if its been done or if it can even be done...i want to turbo or supercharge it in the future...

The plastic one is going to crack soon, so I probably should have gone with the aluminum intake yeah? It should bolt right up.

Is a 3rd gen engine with the older aluminum intake manifold bolted to it.
