What is the best way to integrate a legacy phpBB forum into a new Joomla site?
Basically I want to keep the navigation links (top and main menu), and embed the forum as pages in the site.
Is this feasible?

Registered users in Joomla will be replicated to phpBB too (and vice versa, you have to setup JFusion installation and it's working pretty....
For Joomla and phpBB you can use JFusion , so people logged in Joomla will be logged in phpBB.

Since phpBB is a pretty advanced forum software, it would be a pretty time to use your own login as....
I have integrated phpBB with a site before, however I used phpBB's login system/users table as the primary one as you said.

I was just wondering if there is a way to take a single .XLS file, and integrate it into the forum so that a copy of it is generated on each user profile? The reason I ask is there are quite a few sophisticated programs written entirely into a .XLS file...

Ah_Attachments_Inline_v.0.0.2 but with phpbb 3.0.7 PL1 mod doesn't work i have 3.0.7 PL1 and it works on all) follow intall....
But I am not sure if they are using phpBB there or something different.
That integrated well into the forum.

Is there a way to integrate CodeIgniter with phpBB3? The reason I ask is because I would like to use the user system as a base for my future CodeIgniter Application.

You can always add i select phpbb ....
Then press on the button to install these.
Use jfusion to integrate phpbb3 forum you would like to integrate into Joomla.
This displays an iframe that wraps the external page into Joomla .

Successfully integrate Joomla 2.5.1 and phpBB 3.0.7PL using Jfusion 1.6.0.
Joomla_int is master, phpBB is slave，Dual login is enabled for both．
Joomla is installed at www.mysite.com , phpBB is installed at www.mysite.com/forum

The good thing is that if I login from Joomla website... .
When I try to login from phpbb forum, I will get a blank page and nothing will happen.
The bad thing is that I can not login from phpbb forum now.
Things happen if I enable this option.
