Proc/cpuinfo gives you physical id, core id, and cache size per core what more info do you need?

This doesn't look surprising to me.
Having said that, I can't imagine it really costs Intel that much more to make the higher-end chip.
For the lion's share of the costs to Intel.

The only bad thng is that they dont accept paypal payments .
