Am I the only person who forgets to have their married/dating sims to interact romantically/at all when you're trying to get them a promotion etc?

Had Sunday off, it would be family bonding day, and I would have all my families interact and keep going to smooch their other half, and I think "aww that's sweet", and then I realise that 1) that sim.
