Painting the interior of your MK4 I know many of you have painted the panels around the shifter, gaige and climate control. My question is: There is a film (got gooey with the armor all on it) on the plastic. Did you guys simply applied laquer thinner...

Problem is the int panels don't have clear to protect ... .
I got a body shop in Miami that's how I've always painted interior panels.
It helps the paint harden so you won't have "gooey" surfaces later.
To the paint your using.

My current colour combo is Slate Grey Metallic with burgundy leather interior.
I need to get a few nasties seen to on the body, so I've got options of either going for localised repairs with some careful blending or going for a full covering of new paint...

Im thinking maritime blue
laguna seca blue with red leather works well with burgundy interior....
It's pretty to change the interior than the exterior.
Jams, sills, engine compartment, anywhere you might see some old paint show through.

My main concern ....
Sprayed my old mk4 polo interior spraying back/white/red, white when spraying blue/ pink/green but to be fair aslong as you paint :-) SIMPLES! Nice one guys.
It'll come out on the Mk4 trim but should be the same really .
