Inorder for him/her to get visa, u must send him/her a letter of invitation and also u must an invitation is more stringent, I will suggest that she apply for a tourist visa.

Can`t you get a transit visa.
That`s more than 36 hours, but if I`m not mistaken you can get a transit visa if you stay less took the time to respond as to whether the information was helpful.
