The irritating noise is to remind you to put your landing gear down when you go to land.

I have a 2011 model 328i which almost from beginning has had an annoying noise while accelerating at low speed.
It is a whining noise, but not quite the "whistle" that some other posters have reported hearing at around 30-40mph - which apparently is diagnosed...

I suppose that it's possible that this sensor is causing the noise? It could be that the noise is still there but when some of the noise reaches your ear via bouncing where the noise disappears....

The noise does stop as I apply more pressure on the brakes.
Up and check the rear wheels for play and spin the wheels and listen for noise from the bearings also levels off and goes in a straight line.

Open the faceplate and tighten all wire in it....
If you are not sure which switch is the right one, turn off all switch .
Make sure you turn off circuit breaker.
All you need is a screw driver.
You can easily fix it yourself.
Most likely it is a lose wire.
