Hi there, newbie here about to place her first post. My almost 1-yr old (CGA 8mos) had a Nissen and g-tube placed in July '11 and since we have been home from the hospital beginning in Nov '11 she has been throwing up at least once a day, if not more....

Is she being fed continuously now? If not I'd go for continuous G feeds before trying J feeds feeds over an hour and ten minutes when we were first discharged from the hospital, then with her feeds into the J port and continuous draining....

I've been on a Mic-key j/g since January 27, 2011 and it keeps flipping. Since January 15 of this year it has flipped 5 times. It flipped again last night, so I call my GI team. They took the whole day to try and figure out what to do next. Just a replacement...

I do remember reading about G/J....
My J tube goes directly on itself.
The idea of the AR pillow is to prevent reflux and aspiration, I believe .
Theresa, I just had a J tube placed endoscopicly the 5th of January and it's working great.

I know there are inherent issues with each as a straight j j feeds coming out her g tube after this.....
A direct j is inserted much like a G tube, just straight through the abdominal wall of sorts where the j tube is inserted.
