Honestly I do think he is one of the best writers of all time and I know I'm probably slightly biased because I'm Irish and blah blah blah but Ulysses is mind blowing! The man even got his face on our £10 note before we gave into the Euro but like a lot...

I started Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man once a couple years ago but gave up. Picked up Dubliners today, totally digging it, already seeing stuff that I loved in Portrait in the first couple of stories, makes me more excited to re-read/finish Portrait...
