Hi, I've a Samsung Omnia i900 that run Windows Mobile OS... beleive it or not but nowhere on the Internet I can find information on running JavaFX application on it. please advise.

JavaFX support for JavaFX....
Some of the pre-release tools worked on Windows Mobile (judging by some blog posts) but that support was dropped from the 1.0 release.
As far as I can tell, JavaFX Mobile hasn't been released.

Afaik to create more graphic heavy applications....
The JavaFX technology brings a 2d scenegraph and video capabilities.
There is both a technology part of JavaFX that will help design UIs, and a language part that will make writing UIs easier.

I have read about JavaFX, and like all new technologies I wanted to get my hands "dirty" with it. However, although it talks of multiplatform support, I can't find specifics on this.

JavaFX is now out, and there are promises that Swing will improve along with JavaFX. Gone will be the days of ugly default UI, and at long last we can create engaging applications that are comparable to Flash, Air, and Silverlight in terms of quality....

I agree with the others....
That will still work with JavaFX, it's just another library for that system.
JavaFX lacks controls , no mobile devices support and other lacunae which makes it 'not there yet.

Although it appears fairly powerful in terms of capabilities, I'm kinda blah about JavaFX because than JavaFX to me.

Furthermore, I would say that JavaFX assumes a little bit of pre-familiarity with JavaFX which Swing already solved....
I think that using JavaFX will be more difficult due to the relative lack of documentation, tutorials, examples etc.
