As far as jacket and jeans go, all brands the Jcrew 484 raw selvedge jean, or even their rough rinse version of the 484 selvedge.

Just received and tried on my new clothes from the Q today! I love them! So cute and love the way they fit! Shawn had on the maxi last Friday on her accessory show and her own white jean jacket and low slung belt which gave me the idea! Looked great on...

This is a long rant---I have been looking at the Klim Rally and the BMW jackets and can understand the appeal. But they seem pretty much pointless for anything other than comfort. This is my opinion.

In each case the jackets protective padding worked, or SouthWest in Summer or Winter.
Sliding was not the issue, impact was.
